DESIRE is Casella Meyer’s second full-size collection, an expansive synthesis of our past designs and a product of our continuous experimentation with innovative techniques, fabrics, and forms. We sought to evoke the drive and passion that underlies our work, with desire being the catalyst for it all. Desire is the spark that fuels our creative drive. It is a desire rooted in confidence and an inescapable yearning to expand our vision into new frontiers. Self-assured and unapologetic, it aims far and follows the arrow. With this collection, we wanted to channel this sentiment through the use of grounded earth colors as the base and explosively bold patterns, airbrushing, and embroidery that expand on Casella Meyer’s visual language. The Pegasus, whether on its own or combined with the spirits or flame motifs, appears throughout the collection, symbolizing raw power and timeless elegance. We also incorporated new materials such as mohair and re-envisioned staple pieces from our previous collections to arrive at an expanded style lexicon.

Physically and conceptually, each piece in the collection is multidimensional, combining unexpected elements into couture compositions. We experimented with juxtapositions of form, fabric, and cultural references to arrive at an elegant and playful collection grounded in Casella Meyer’s commitment to craftsmanship and fabric innovation. By combining complex weaving and embroidery techniques with our signature airbrushing, we create a distinct aesthetic that reflects the essence of Casella Meyer’s design practice. Each limited-edition piece is manufactured in Italy to the highest industry standards.
